Pilates Informed Exercise Programs
Pilates Informed Exercise Programs are specifically designed for your individual needs. The programs will include more than one of the following:
– Mat based exercises
-Strength band exercises
-Hand/Ankle weighted exercises
These programs focus specifically on posture, core stability, balance, control, strength, flexibility & breathing.
All programs will be supervised by your own physiotherapist.
The initial comprehensive examination identifies areas of movement dysfunction which determines the exercises included in your program.
Your customized program will be monitored by your physiotherapist regularly to achieve the best possible outcome.
Group Classes are available with a maximum of 8 people per class.
Pilates informed exercise programs can be designed for people of all ages and fitness levels because of its variability and low impact nature. It is particularly useful for back and pelvic pain, shoulder pain and sports injuries as well as being excellent for improving overall strength and flexibility.
Private Health Insurance rebates are available for Pilates Informed Exercise Programs prescribed by physiotherapists.
